Community Care Rheumatology at Wellness Way offers patients many subspecialties on site. Within our Rheumatology suite is InfusionCare, an infusion therapy practice under the medical director of Dr. Jessica Chapman. InfusionCare administers the infusion medications ordered by physicians and manage the infusion process, while your physician continues to manage your condition and care.

Infusion therapy plays an important role in our rheumatology patients’ overall treatment regimen. We are please to offer on-site infusions through InfusionCare.

Infusion therapy involves the administration of medication through a needle or catheter.

This is necessary when oral medications aren’t effectively treating a patient’s illness. Infusions can be given for a variety of diagnoses, including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Osteoporosis.

InfusionCare at Wellness Way provides a comprehensive list of medications for intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SQ) office-administration, including but not limited to:

  • Actemra
  • Benlysta
  • Boniva
