What to expect
The more information we can collect during your visit the better. Think about a few things prior to your first appointment:
- Timeline of your symptoms
- When they began
- Where you experienced them
- How long they lasted
- Did anything specific trigger these symptoms
- Any medications you’re taking or treatments you’ve already tried
Our rheumatologists will take a detailed medical and family history and will conduct a thorough exam. We may also order some lab or imaging tests, such as X-rays or ultrasounds.
We encourage you to ask questions during your appointment. Feel free to write them down if you find that helpful. We’re here to assist you and we are your partners in your care.
